CSS Style aggressive fitment thread! Part 2
Can someone tell me where i can get a 17" 9-10" wide rim that will fit over the brembo brakes? I want it for traction not the look and i need to know offset and what size tire would be best? It doesn't have to be anything fancy cause i'm just gonna paint them black. I figured i would ask you guys cause you know best on wide rims
No because that would be a bad idea.
if your not gonna lower it you could run huge wheels, there is a guy on here who auto x's and hes on 10's but it looks like crap, but obvisouly not done for looks.

I'm not doing it for looks i just want to have another set of wheels for traction on the street. Thats why i have the coilovers so i can be slammed one day and run beef tires the next for traction. Why would raising the coilovers be a bad idea? I'm just looking for the biggest tire and rim that will fit without rubbing.
do some research on how a car handles and what improves handling and you will see why coilovers do what they do and how ride hight affects a cars handling.
raising the car higher then stock height would be supid, keeping them at stock hight would also be a waste.
Im assuming you mean raising them as in as high as they go

Oh sorry for the confussion, thats the tires im running on my wheels, i replied to bumpin's question, should of made it clearer.
you could run bigger then a 245 on a 9 for sure, just depends on the tire, i had a 225 on a stock 7 no problem you could probably run a 265 on a 9
