CSS Style aggressive fitment thread! Part 2
minisscule poke lol same offset as doms. posting pics later i dont really like the ones on my facebook but i might. gotta get oil changed and exhaust done tomorrow to leave for CED though
That will poke a bit. YOu may get the front to work just fine with camber but the rears will poke more than a boner in sweatpants. Id get them in the +35 offset and get spacers for the front personally. Ive always wanted to see how those look on a cobalt, if Im thinking of the same rims as you.
Depends on what tires your running. Blazin's car is pretty flush in the back with the 17x9 +35. The spacer he runs in the front will make that flush. Your flush in the front but the back pokes quite a bit more than I like, I wouldnt run anymore offset than what you have now, unless you shim the rear. What are your wheels 18x9.5 +30 or something?

They will actually sit in the exact same position as your new wheels before you added the spacer. That's why I was wondering how much fender work you had to do. I'm not really interested in doing a ton of work to make them fit.
The +35 and +20 look the same iirc. The only difference is how thick the mountng hub is in the back of the wheel. All the 18x8.75 look the same no matter the offset, it only changes if you go to the 18x9.75, which will be much more concave.
Haha, no dude, the offset changes the shape of the wheel. If the back of the wheel was just thinker, you would have to use longer studs to mount them.
I don't want the +35, I was the +20's because they are more concave and look 100x better

yeah to my knowledge itll need to be wider.. itll look good either way though.. in all honesty i was lookin at xxr wheels on other cars at a show we were at... when they were at there most concave they really didnt look good in person... i think the 8.75 will look better than a 9.5 wide or anything

maybe poke a tiny bit. I might go 18x9 +15
