man my problem is getting the coils first. Wouldve had them from tax returns but instead decided to use that money for something else and put the rest away for the trip to CED, but once I get those then I'll be selling everything like you did lol

You're right, but shoes are generally under $100 a pair. Not $2000+.......

Here it is, I'm officially calling BS on the 4 sets of "legit" wheels. Bookmark this post and quote it with pics of your 4 sets of wheels when they come in. I will gladly eat my words if I am wrong. This just sounds too ridiculous to be true.

I definitely don't mean any offence by this at all and I'm not being disrespectful. It's just in my 10+ years of being on Automotive forums, claims like yours are VERY seldomly true.

i can see someone having 4 sets for a porsche... but if u have 4 sets of wheels + tires for a cobalt... u should be

a) driving something nicer
or
b) setting up an appointment to go see a financial adviser for lessons on how to spend money a little more responsibly

sloobaltss apparently spent over $80 000 on a Dodge Stratus. I'm sorry, but you would have to be mentally challenged to spend that much on POS Dodge Stratus!

I'm not the one buying 4 sets of "legit" rims for a Cobalt sedan.

I'm also not delusional enough to think i can tuck 10" wide wheels on a Cobalt.

Without tubs, it won't happen. I don't care what kind of tricks you think you have up your sleeve, if you don't radius the fenders, or tub the inner fender, you don't fit them.

I'm going to laugh if even one of his sets is more "legit" than anyone else's on here. My friend has a base model 8th gen civic lx, he's had more "legit" wheels then anyone will on here, I believe he's on his 10th set. Volk, Work, BBS, etc...he's had them all. Post them up when you're ready to reveal them!

why do you guys have to b so negative again LOL just let him do w.e the helll he wants and then if he turns out to be like 95% of cobalt owner bash him as much as you want, just let the kid b and do what he wants its his money.

personally i believe hes gunna have 4 legit sets of wheels,i know him and i know the look that he likes and its all about what this thread is about. the 10 inch wide wheel may b pushing but its not our cars. let him post pics and then you can bash all you want....

I'm just saying just because he doesn't have an SS doesn't mean he can't get nice wheels, no matter how stupid other people may think he is for spending that kind of money. Same logic applies to people who put nice wheels on old ass vw's or other similar cars.

If they're legit, awesome, more power to him. I'm not saying he's dumb for having them, because if he is, fantastic. I don't think you can get more legit than BBS RS's, or CCW Classic Race's though lol.

But you know how this site is Marisa, a lot of people claim big things, but don't follow through. I'd be just as critical if it were an SS or a base model. No difference to me. I'm basing it off the community, not the trim level.

I'll be the first to congratulate him if he really did get 4 sets.

Some people don't like to advertise every little step of what they do, it makes it better in the end when everything is finished, and it's fun leaving doubers in suspense.

if he didn't want to advertise, he wouldn't have said what he did haha.

Josh didn't brag about his CCW's till he got them.
Spoolin' didn't brag about his BBS's until he got them.

I bragged about my RPF1's, but that was only after i did the hub swap, and it was simply a matter of time.

Just kind of disappointed in how often this community talks about how i'm gonna make 700whp on pump gas blah blah, and it never happens. Like crying wolf. Basing it simply off experience.

I wouldn't say he advertised, more of a teaser or spoiler, like a lot of people do.

well he is 4x100. we all forgot that. wheels are easier to get because thats civic size. i highly doubt he will have an aggressive stance like ours.
