CSS Style aggressive fitment thread! Part 2
i have a question about some fitment. I have a 2.2 ls. I had some 18x7.5 with a 40mm backspace. They filled out the car really well with sportlines. i'm going with some stance coilovers and 16 inch wheels. does anybody know of some good sizes and backspacing to give the agressive look?
Why 16's?
It's gonna be hard to get AGGRESSIVE(stretched tires/REALLY low/poke) with wheels that small. You're going to have to lower it A LOT to close the wheel gap. Probably to the point where you'll break axles on a fairly regular basis.
Now if you want to look FLUSH(non-stretched tires/low/no poke)....that would be possible. You need to state what the width of those 16 inch wheels is in order to give an accurate measurement. If you get like a 16x8, go with something around +35 to be FLUSH

17's. not too sure at the moment. thanks for the input though
If you have Stance coils you may be able to close the gap with 16's. Id really like to see it done since I was contemplating doing that as well. 16in sizes in agressive wheels are everywhere, trying to find decent 17's is damn near impossible. You can easily find 16x8 +20 and run like a 205/45/16 Hell you can even find nice 16x8.5 and 16x9 in 4x100 too.
ESM has a nice BBS RS replica thats 17x8.5 +20. Thats on the more agressive side but with the right tires I think you can get it really flush. The 3in stepped lip is sick too.

For 16's you can look at Honda-tech wheel classifieds, VW vortex 4x100 classifieds, REv Unlimited Classifieds, North American Motoring Classifieds, Lotus Talk classifieds since the Exige is 4x100 and they run agressive 16 and 17's. That should be enough help.
