If you used ALOT of the caliper cleaner and they still look a little dirty, it's alright. Run your finger across them.....does anything show on your finger or perhaps a white paper towel? If not, it's ok to paint them as they are just stained and the paint will go right over them. Not a big deal.

Spray them down with some brake cleaner and then brush the crap out of them.

Whatever it takes...

I just did mines this past weekend. But I only had 1,000 miles on it, and was able to brush it clean to a shiny silver.

Put whatever it takes into getting that baby clean. Do it right the first time and I can guarantee you'll realize how much it was worth it once you're done.

After the paint, I can't stop staring at it...
