Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 ??? Please rate these tires !!!
Thinking hard and have come to the Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 mounted on 16" steelies for winter.
How good are these tires?
Im talking dry pavement, wet pavement, and snow...
I live in missouri and we dont get too much snow, so these will be mounted as late as i can in the winter, but experts are saying this will be a bad winter so i am not going through my shitty ass stockers again this year.
Or is there anything else that would fit me better...
Im going to get these if i dont have any negative remarks, so please post if you have any problems with them.

I picked blizzacks(sp) on 16 steelies for 420...I drove though snow today. they were pretty awesome in the slush and snow today. dry grip is okay, the tires break loose in second though, so now wot in 1st or second cause you will burn them up pretty quick.

amazing, amazing tires. let me dig up my review from last year. buy them, before they sell out for the winter, you won't regret it.
here's my review of them from last year. basically, i tried to lose control in fresh snow that was not even driven on yet, and couldn't. (i'm sure i could have if i really tried, but i was being realistic) Some things I would like to add is that last year i made it up and down roads that trucks couldn't go, they were spinning and sliding off the road, and my car literally felt like it was moving on dry ground. only thing that was tough was first gear, which is 100% to be expected
a big A+ for the m3's. the hill leading down from my house is about 3/4 mile, and though it's not crazy steep it's a decent grade with a few twists. also, the driveway leading out is pretty steep and has 2 turns in it. the main road was kinda clear from people driving already, so i went down some random sidestreets that were not plowed or even driven on yet. can handled amazingly, and i'm very impressed. we have probably about 3 inches or so so far. of course you have to start out slowly, i wasn't expecting anything out of first since i can't go more than half-3/4 throttle when it's totally dry without smoking the tires. out of first, going into 2nd, and into 3rd i drove pretty much like i normally would when it's dry. i intentinally spun the tirs a few times to see what would happen, and also spun them intentionally around a turn. it was a very wide street with no cars/people so i figured if i'm going to slide, here's the ideal time to see what it will do. what happened? nothing! even when intentionally sliding the car i never felt like i didn't have complete control of the car. i was more concerned with the brakes than the tires, though downshifting and engine braking totally took care of that.
CLIFF NOTES: smart driving plus good winter tires = a car that handles awesome in the snow.
and why do people in trucks and suv's drive like complete ******** in the snow? this guy in front of me was riding an eclipse's ass, literally about a foot or so behind her. i would have stopped the car and got out if i was that eclipse.

BEST. TIRES. EVER. I LOVE these things. Back when I ran just the Rossos for summer I used to actually dread putting my summer tires back on. They ride great, they handle great. REALLY damn good tires.
