Thumbs up ENKIE RPF1's Intrest???

Alright guys, i know alot of us want em but ive tried countless time to get em to custom make me a set but failed. Just got off the phone with kurt from enkie and asked what it would take to get these made for the 5X110. he said they would need to make and sell a min of 100 wheels, so 25 sets. So if we can get 25 people willing to buy we can finally have our wheels. heres the catch the wheel will be a lil more than the regular rpf1 due to the custom drill, also we need to go to a vendor and have them put in the order we cant call individually to order. so first things first see if we can come up with 25 orders, then agree on a vendor to buy them from, then get with enkie let em know, then wait for them to drill and test fit to make sure they clear those brembos up front for us TC guys. is anyone intrested????

very light and very strong.. would be 1 of the best quality wheels for the cobalt if made.(which i highly doubt will happen) most ppl with a cobalt arent willing to pay $1500+ for wheels (excluding tires)

and its spelled enkEI

AS for me 17x9's 35mm-ish offset in silver or black(OR BUST)

Theres probably 10 people on here that would seriously buy them. 200 people will say oh cool I would buy them but I dont have money.

1. we need a price
2. I havent looked at the off set etc. will these fit over the brembo on the TC? (18" wheel has a 35 or 45 offset currently. http://enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPF1.html
I think they run about $285 for 18"s so If they cost near or above $350 it may not be worth it.

price wont be determined till we have enough intrest said it should be the same if not a lil more doubt it will be 350 each. and yes if drilled to 5X110 they would be made to fit over the brembos

well to get a quality wheel theres going to have to be more then one consumer for manufacturers to produce that size. and since cobalts are the only sport cars with 5x110 its not going to be possible for only 1 of you to have that wheel.. and 25 ppl out of what 100000000 cobalt owners?????

Yes, those are great wheels, however people are complaining about the price of rpf1's. They're probably not going to be willing to put out $500+ per wheel for a set of 18" advans.

advans are nice but pricey and get associated with the whole JDM thing, if i had a teggy id be all for some advans, rpf1's are amazing wheels thats why so many race cars use them. plus me personally think they look hella good.

dude this wheel isnt for glamor shots. this is a RACING wheel. go look on any race track, most cars have them. If you are looking for a 20" chrome pos, please go ahead and do not order this rim.

Depending on width it should be 17.8lbs per rim for a 8in wide wheel. If they retail at $285 (with no shipping) for 5x114 and they say it will cost a little more than that to custom drill them for us, I do not see this happening. They will then cost similar to a ultraleggera, and how many people have those on this forum? 3? I have 100% confidence in saying this will never hit 25 on this forum. There are not enough road course drivers with money and are serious here.

the newer malibu has 5x110 too. I would assume some other gm cars have it as well.

yeah 10000000 cobalt owners, not that many on this site and not that many race them. You are also talking about cheap ass owners with not much money. If this was a ferrari or lambo forum I dont think we would have a issue finding buyers.

right.. im just sayin . that kid is acting like because 25 people are going to buy them that every cobalt you see is going to have rpf1s. 25 people is literraly nothing.. your lucky he didnt say they needed atleast 500

and yes malibus have them but i seriously doubt 1 malibu owner will buy these... i really dont understand chevys market strategy behind the 5x110.. ive honestly have heard of people not buying an SS because of the poor choice of wheels they have to choose from.

Price has to be competitive with the OZ Ultra... that sell for $350each. Unless these wheels sell for less I see no reason to pay more for them.

Subie's owners can buy a set for $800 shipped...so unless were talking something similar than **** it. Enkie never stepped up to the plate for us so now were supposed to pay more...**** that.

17x9 15-15.9lbs and $250 ea. at tirerack. I'd be willing to pay $50 more per wheel though.
