fix a flat

i got a tired thats leaking were it makes contact with the rim, io have to fill it every third or fourth day, so i bought some fix-a-flat spray wich is suppost to inflate the tire and make it stop leaking, but i says not to use on z-rated tires, should i still use it since the tire cant be repaired anyways and hope ill stop leaking?

Probably not but it's your call. My guess would be that it reccomends not using it in z rated tires because of the materials used in constructing the tire. But that's just a guess.

Sounds like you need to get your tire reseated. My old galant's tire was leakin after I took a corner a little too hard. It was offset of the rim and leaked.

i used it on my tire....and it slowed the leak by alot...but right after i threw it in...i went for nice long drive...like 70miles and i didnt feel any vibrations just cuz it got spread evenly

if you take it to the shop dont put the fix a flat in it...its highly explosive

why can the tire not be repaired, does it have a puncture in the sidewall or too close to it???

the reason tire shops wont repair damages like above is its dangerous, it can cause a blowout at speed. if the tire cant be fixed, it shouldnt be on the car, and fix a flat isnt gonna make it safe.

fix a flat is used to get you from point a to b in extreme manners as you have no spare or cant get it towed. Not used to fix it permanently.

I used it on an 18" SS rim and it worked. You have to drive it while it is kinda flat, and it inflates while you drive and seals the tire. Kinda weird. They say not to use on Z-rated because without any air you're likely to ride the rim.

if you read the can it tells you it is...not only that they give you a label so you can put it on your valve stem and it lets the people servicing the tire know to be careful
