No because they have 5x114.3 im assuming and can run a wider wheel with diff offset or spacer or something cause ive seen plenty running them

Anywhere from 18x8 to 18x9 gunmetal looks best imo, noticed you were just across the border so could pick up and just pay duty.

Some center caps would be nice too.

Pretty sure throughout the thread we have about 10 people agreeing on 18x9, could we get a final price and maybe start making a list?

Exactly, why does this seem to only be an issue for LNFs then? Can we not find an offset that will work? If they are doing a custom drilled version, being 5x114.3 means nothing. I'm aware of the issue with the shape of the spokes, but there are sizes that will fit over brembos.

There a lots of cars running the RPF1xBrembo combination.

Here's an example of an STi running just that, with an 18x8.5 +30:

FS: (ND) Enkei RPF1 18x8.5et30 - SOLD - NASIOC

Name: DSC_1726-1.jpg
Views: 3616
Size: 159.2 KB

This isn't exactly what we are going for, being a 10" wide wheel, but just for conversations' sake:

Also, a 17x9.5 +33 w/ 5mm spacer:

I hate to be a bother, I just don't want to see this opportunity go to waste.

They will be 18s (majority of people want) in 5x110.

I feel like the color will end up being SBC or gunmetal just because the most people will end up agreeing on it.
They also would look great on every car

im guessing this hasnt made any progress? if 18x9 is not gona fit the lnf brembos then lets make sure that the 18x8.5 can clear them with the right offset.

I agree, since the 18x9 requires a 15mm spacer I would prefer the 18x8.5 if the +30 doesn't require any spacer. Also it looks like the majority is choosing either SBC or Gunmetal (I want bronze), so I vote for Gunmetal.

fyi, .040" is the extreme minimum clearance you need between that wheel, the range of .050-.2 is much more acceptable and safe for an aggressive driver as wheels, suspension flex a lot under hard cornering.

The normal dynamic changes of the suspension shouldn't effect the spacing between the wheel and calliper, since the mounting surfaces of each are not designed to move independently of one another once assembled.

Wheel flex, would, without a doubt. As well as any minuscule play between the wheel hub/bearing/steering knuckle/calliper itself.

I don't have access to any specific numbers, but your suggestion sounds about right.

just ended up finding a company that builds amazing billet adapters to 5x114.3. they are only 15mm thick due to the pockets on the back of the rpf1's inbetween the lug holes. the pockets allow your 5x110 studs to fit with out cutting any part of them off. i went with 18x9 +35 which requires a 15mm spacer with a hub swap to clear the brembos... hense the adapters are 15mm so its perfect

I don't think the pockets are 10mm deep which is likely what you'll need. I had to shave about 5mm of stud off with my 19mm adapters.

Be careful as well, 15mm adapters are very small. Most reputable companies stay away from any size below 19mm for safety reasons.

im not really to worried about it but you are right. Motorsport tech in nevada is the place i went with and ive heard nothing but good news and things from multiple people about there spacers and adapters. but would did you use to shave off the 5mm off of your studs?

Mine are from motorsport-tech. The smallest size they make is 19mm IIRC.

I used a cutting wheel to take the tips off the stock studs.

I also had to trim/grind my stock studs with a 25mm spacer. Only the tips, not any part of the thread. As the spacer gets smaller, more has to be taken off. As you said any smaller spacer seems a little dangerous. Add that to cutting farther into the thread studs required with a smaller spacer. If the wheels aren't sitting completely flush on the spacer/hub... you'll get vibrations and probably have even bigger issues (wheel come loose )

So with 18x9 +35, your final offset with a 19mm adapter will be +16.

I am running 17x8 +45, w/adapter final offset is +26. It is flush and I had to roll the fenders in the rear to stop the rubbing.

You'll be poking 10mm more than me and with the larger wheel, you will need some fender work to fit them correctly without looking silly. Roll/Pull fenders will be absolutely necessary.
