got bored.. polished the tc's.

so i was searching around the site and didnt see anyone who polished their tc wheels. so i figured i'd see how it looks.

thanks. they took me about 2hrs each but i couldnt be happier with how they turned out.

eeehhhh......not a fan. My buddy ericgt has all 4 wheels completely polished on a red TC. Looks okay

well. i started by tapeing everything off. i use norton sandpapers. I used a da with 150 grit to get the clear the paint and primer off. then i used 320 on the da to get the aluminum smoother. Then i wet sanded 600 then 1500. and the polish I used is called speedy. there is no better product out there in my opinion.

it should be the other way around... they come stock black.

Anyway, those rims look really good! I wish i could polish like that, casue i wouldn't mine doing my valve cover.
