My guess...stressing....guess, is youd have to go with a 1.25" spacer to avoid cutting studs, otherwise go the original route and get spacers with new studs.

20mm = .78 inches

So 1" is roughly 1/4" wider than the 20mm spacers

20mm you WILL NEED new studs! your stocks will poke through not allowing the adapter to sit flush.

Idk, the ss/sc wheels are 7" wide, right?

I dont see them poking, but they would probably sit flush

Yeah you'd have to buy new studs for those right?

Well that's the point of getting adapters... so you dont need new studs. The adapter sits over your studs which you then bolt down, and then the new studs come out from the adapter.

So, are these spacers safe? And the 1" allows for the studs on a t/c???

I have seen it with my own eyes, a half inch spacer leave a TON of the factory stud hanging out. The youtube walkthrough video that the guy sent from mywheeladapters.com i believe said to cut the studs, it seemed that WAY too much needed to be cut.

I think ive already posted these but might as show them again:
My buddy darnell cut just a small portion off of his with barely any thread to run 1" spacers.
LNF's on a SC with 1" spacer, needs a smaller tire width just a bit, rolled fenders would probably help.

The whole reason I was going to get adapters was so I didn't mess with the stock studs....

now I have to start my whole idea over

I just ordered Adapters from motorsports tech, I ended up going with 26mm hubcentric. If anyone has ever seen a HHR SS you know that the wheels are about 1.5-2 inches in from being flush with the fenders. I have cobalt SS/TC rims and that made it worse than it was with the Stock HHR SS rims. Im looking forward to getting them and will give a review on the adapters but from what Ive been told there good quality.
