a pound or 2 is a big deal in rotational mass...thats why people want lightweight wheels, because it makes a difference...maybe i can find some lightweight tires to make up the added weight...
i think conti and sumitomo tires only weigh 21lbs and the tires i have now weigh 26lbs

26MM is hefty for a cobalt. check back a page or two to the Red ss/sc with the plastidipped trunk, that car has 1" around with ss/tc wheels and the back sticks out 1/2 past the fender and bottoms out everywhere and its past the point where rolling the fender makes a difference. Hes going down in tire size to make the "stance" look, but for functionality he will be losing traction with a narrower tire.

Yea for daily use I don't mind running them. And the cobalt rims are a few pounds lighter than the Hhr stock rims so its not like I really gained any weight not to mention I'm running a smaller tire than what comes on a Hhr stock.
