Hello Question about Goodyear F1 A/S-C
I haven't posted on these forums for a very long time. I am posting with a question about tires. I am planning on putting on stock size 215/45/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S-C tires this friday. I haven't seen anyone comment on that particular tire and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Kinda stuck since I wanted to go with the Eagle GT but they are still very hard to find. I can't wait any longer since the stock Pirelli's are now completely separating @ 51,700 miles. I took awesome care of them and didn't abuse them very much and they did last far longer than I imagine they should have. I am hoping I get at least 50,000 out of the Goodyears. Any feedback will be taken into consideration and I wish you all a very happy and safe summer of driving.
I really want to stick with stock size and I must have all season capabilities. Only 5 tires that I found in 215/45/18 and the F1 A/S-C is the most affordable.

I have these on my car right now. They handle decently, just won't grip like a summer tire. But they hold pretty good, and break loose predictably. You will feel it and be able to compensate. The only real downside is if you try to launch the car. They don't hook worth a damn. Just take 1st easy and you will be fine though.
