I need support for NEW Enkei wheels
hello everyone, after the pf01 wheels in our bolt pattern, and now they have 2 different colors in our bolt pattern. anyone else would like enkei to make more wheels for us? this is the number to enkei rep king 800-875-3100, user name buellfool and i had been chatting over this forums for the last couple days. and since we all did it once to have enkei make the pf01 in our bolt pattern, maybe we can once again try maybe lets say rpf01 again? i know its been talk before, but if we can't get rpf01, maybe something that is 17x9 size?? positive input and support would be appreciated.

I'm in for another campaign. It worked getting the Cobalt noticed and included in the PFO1 applications last year. The PFO1 has been a success for Enkei. They even have two colors available now. A year ago I nearly had to give King a blow job just to get him to listen to our plee for wheels. Give King a call at the phone # above. Tell him thanks for the PFO1 and what's next for the Cobalt community. I have my call in to him now. He's a busy man. Give him an idea of what YOU'd like to see. I'm up for a 17X9 in a race wheel as are a lot of guys that want to go racing. Give him a call. It's free.

When I started talking with King last year Cobalt was an after thought. They didn't have enough call for a wheel for Cobalt. Then we started the phone/emailcampaign and the PFO1 HAPPENED. Just tell them what you'd like to see.
Don't tell me. Tell King at Enkei. His phone number's above.

Why DEgrade a great handling car when, with a little persuasion toward the wheel manufacturers by Cobalt owners and enthusiasts, we might convince them there is a market for their wheels here. That EXACT same thing happened with the PFO1. A year or so ago Enkei decided to design a new wheel for their race series lineup. Applications had not been definitely determined when I, just by chance, spoke with Enkei rep King and he mentioned they had a new wheel in the works. When I asked if the Cobalt SS/TC would be included he said that hadn't been determined but it was unlikely as there was very little call for such an odd bolt pattern. I asked If I could prove there was a demand would it help. THAT'S when I asked the people on this forum to call and send emails to King to PROVE there WAS enough demand to warrant the extra effort for Enkei to make a wheel for us. I had ZERO information on what they were designing. My request to him was a LIGHT, 17X9, 5/110 wheel that would fit over our outrageously large Brembo brakes. The PITA campaign must have worked. We got our PFO1. NOT EXACTLY what I had asked for, but a GREAT wheel and a beginning non the less. The day King told me it was a done deal I ordered my PFO1's from Tire Rack, who, of course, had never heard of them. The rest is history. You can sit back and wait for manufacturers to have a VISION about what people want to spend their money on or you can ASK them to make something you want to buy. That's my question to YOU. King KNOWS what I want.

like i said. not everyone road races. and even still. you can make an lsj suspension outhandle any tc. just ask bryan, john, maven, etc..
or you can switch to 5x4.5 and still ahve a whole world of 17x* wheels available to you and keep the brembos.

and not everyone want to switch bolt pattern, redrill rotor everytime you want to change out new rotor. its just a thread for everyone to help out and support. if you don't like the idea of making new wheels, then its ok, i respect your decision. when come into this thread and bash on people who want more wheel options? just calm down man.
