I am looking to replace my stock tires that came with my 2005 Cobalt which I got about 40,000-50,000 km out of them.. I am looking to not spend alot of money since I am getting rid of the car in June 2009.. So I am just want something that I can use for like 2 more summers (or less)...

I got quotes on tires called Maxxis MA-Z1 Victra ... I just wanted some input on these tires.. I don't really know much about Maxxis so I was hoping maybe someone can shed some light for me..

The prices I got were $680cdn for 235/40/18 and $729cdn for 245/40/18 (will these fit??)

Any input would be great.

I don't know about Maxxis, but I've heard Nexen is a good tire for the money. Or if you want a little step up Falken 912's or Kumho AST's. I have the AST's
