Irritating question
Ok, so I'm looking to get some Varrstoen 2.2.1 18's. Obviously, I'm going to have to run 19mm adapters for the 5x114.3 conversion. What sort of offset should I look at so that I'm not poking? I'd like to stay relatively flush. Should I look for 18x8.5? I'm mainly finding 18x9 with a 0 to +30 offset. HALP!!!
18X8.5 with the highest offset you can. the 19mm adapters will bring the offset down, so say if you get +30 offset, with the adapter the actual offset would be like +11 which is a LOT of poke. i suggest smaller adapters or finding a wheel that has at least +45 offset. even then it will poke a little, but not too much. rear fenders would have to be rolled for sure unless your on stock or pedders suspension.

i dont blame him, its a very good looking wheel. i was actually going to get some varrstoen wheels but decided against it, this was before domdotcom considered it. i realized i would have to get at least a +28 offset to clear the brembos and thats just too aggressive for me, so i went with team dynamics.

Wow, first time I've ever seen that. Looks amazing though. I was looking at TE37's, then looked for a replica to save some $. That's amazing looking though. I'm DEFINITELY going the adapter route though, just gotta learn more about it. People say you have to run longer wheel studs, I'm not really sure about what exactly I'm going to have to do to pull this off the RIGHT way.
talk to domdotcom, hes a member on here.

I trimmed my stock studs down because they stuck out of the adapters a bit to far
You're going to have a tough time finding wheel's that won't poke if you're using a 19mm adaptor. Like i'm talking +50mm offset or more.
Just do a hub conversion or find wheels in 5x110.
