I think there's a few people on here with 235s on stock rims. I'm not too worried about it yet I guess. If I need rims I'll get some next summer.

Got the tires on and it's been raining here like crazy. They work really good in the rain, not sure about dry traction yet. The bad part it the tire shop gouged and scratched all four rims up badly! The GF took it to get them put on so when she got home I notcied and called them up and gave them a blast of ****. They said they can't see how they'd scratch them all up but said if they did they'd fix them. That ever happen to any of you?

I have them on one of my cars right now. They seem to hold the road pretty well and the lateral traction is pretty good. I have had many tires though that seemed to out-perform them when it comes to dry cornering however these seem to be right up there with the wet cornering abilities which make them a great everyday tire.

Iv seen rims get realy Fd by tires shops befor man.

As for the tires I have not used them me self.

But I can tell you that some 235s (Mine) will suffer from tread cuping if mounted on a rim less then 8"s wide. The stockers are 7"s wide. This might be a problem for you.

Or it might not. Some people say theres fit fine. But I think most of them dont understand tread cuping or how to detect it.

i used to work for sears auto center and i've seen pleanty of wheel get messed up from a variety of things. i've seen people scratch them by using the weight hammer to pull the valve stems out, the arm on the machine that puts the tire on the rim rumming the rim, tech;s in a hurry and playing nascar and buzzing the lug nuts on and hitting the rim with the socket while the gun is going full blast, etc. Sears paid to fix the rims when it was the tech's fault. i would definately make em pay!

You used to work for sears to. LOL
I was the manager of the Anarbor (Brierwood) sears auto center for 6 months. I worked there for 2 years total. I hated every min of it.
The TP despenser in the bathroom used to say "Pull for pay check" with an arrow pointing to the paper. lol
