link to said wheels? I went to gravana's site and this is what I got for the 09 SS....

We do not currently have any products available for your specific vehicle request.
Per Tirerack, the OZ Alleggerita HLT is not something they offered as a cobalt SS wheel so far.

fitting something around the front Brembos is gonna be the problem...I had a set of Kyowa KR228s that were prolly about 18lbs a piece and looked awesome...but I think clearance would have been an issue

my bad, i though you had an ss/sc, clearance will be a prob for you, so alot of those wheels wont fit over the brembos

if you look for an 06-07 the wheels will come up, but i guess they dont fit on the ss/tc

there was one guy on here running the ssr type c i think, for the soltice and he hadem on the ss/tc balt with spacers, so if ur down with using spacers those would work

yeah ssr type-c, and you would just have to run a 15 or 10mm spacer on the front. link... http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Check the centerline site. Their wheels are pretty lightweight.

So what's the consensus? If the SSR Type C's work- they would probably be the lightest wheel for the SS TC.

The SSR is 0.1 lb lighter than the OZ and it will not be the lightest money can buy, but it will be the lightest (at least for now) that most people are willing to pay.

Personally I am going with the OZ and I am not paying anything more than $350 for a wheel.

did you do this yet? the ssr-c's? If they fit on the cobalt ss/tc then the O.Z. Alleggerita HLT may fit as well. The ssr-c doesn't show up for the cobalt, but does show up for the saturn/gxp with an offset of +55mm and a backspacing of 6.53"; not sure if their is enough room to clear our brakes though.

Course at that price might better off going with the ultraleggera 18x9 +55mm, 7.2backspace with a half inch spacer - shrug - and some 265's...

would be interested to see your results with the ssr-c and if you picked up a 10-15mm spacer.

FYI, the DC-5's Gravana has DO NOT fit on my SS/TC. I have a set sitting in my apartment.
