Lo-Pro Tires

Can someone please tell me how you know whether a tire is lo-pro or not? Please?

Im a NEWB...so lemme break it down...You know what a low profile tire is right? So if im buying tires on the net but the pictures arent that close up or anythign but it gives sizes and stuff, is there a way to tell if they are lo-pro?

Low profile means how thin the tire is. So if you have a 245 60 18 tire then the second number is the profile. Anything below a 50 is considered low profile. IMO.

yeah, 50 profile or less, but in my personal opinion, I think 50 profile tires look big. I have a 40 profile tire on my 18"s and they still look kinda thick.........but my 19"s will be running a 35 profile tire.........now thats sickness!

Actually a 70 is low-profile. Anything below the standard profiles of 80, 78, 75. Although given how few vehicles (even trucks) come with standard profiles theses days definitions could stand to be revised. Generally anything below a 50 is considered ultralow profile.

first number is the width in mm's. second number is a ratio of the first aka the sidewall size..3rd is the rim size.


i am running 225 30 20's brotha. thats low ****, it took me and 5 other guys to put them on the rims....2 and a half hours of pain ahha. it was shitty man.

Is your car dropped?? I'm installing Eibach: Sportline springs in my car then slap in a 17" enkei evo 5 rims on it as well; I need to figure out what suitable tire that won't scrape on my fender, ne suggestions?? Thanks
