Looking for an All-Season Tire.

I'm from arkansas and we get very mild winters and around here its not common for people to use a set of tires for summer and a set for winter. I've always used all-season tires and so far my luck as been good. Anyhow, I'm looking for a decent set of all-season tires that won't break the bank or my car. Also what size can i go to get some of the wheel gap? I want a little wider than the stock tire and a taller.

Nexen N7000's they have good tread pattern and decent dry and wet grip. I don't know about winter use though. I only ran them in the summer.

most people go with 225 45 18. a little wider and taller then the stock tire and cheaper since it is a more common size.

I just had a set of 215/45/18 Nankang tires installed after I got them in from tires-easy.com.

Paid $404.90 (including shipping) and I'm happy with them. The sidewall isn't as stiff as the factory Pirellis were but it also makes the ride a lot smoother, not so much like a go-cart

stay away from Falken ziex 912's...they may be all season M+S, but let the temps drop below 25 degrees and they're not worth a damn.

I have had those tires in ice and snow.

They're great tires in the colder weather.

crazy stuff.....maybe snow provides traction, LOL. No snow/ice here it just got cold and went around a curve and the back end slid out from under me. During the summer they were great, quietest tire I've ever put on a car.

Corey, I got them from discounttire.com and had a place in Memphis mount & balance them for me.

I have the all season Goodyear Eagle GT's, and I must say they are awesome. Fantastic dry/wet traction, and they handle like a dream. I will never know what they are like in the winter, because I don't drive my balt during the shitty months. All in all, they are a great tire.

My Mom has these on her G6GT and they did ok in the snow. Definitely a lot better than the tires on my car.

Cooper Zeon Sport A/S great tires put 25000 on in a year went through winter and everything else with no issues. Great dry traction and wet too! Handled snow better than I had expected. I was very impressed and ordered a new set for my new car too. 225-45-18 from Treadepot.com for $500 shipped to my door.
