MSR 045 Inquiry

It looks like I will need some new tires soon, so I want to take the opportunity to get new wheels as well. Looking at the ones that have been confirmed to fit I really like the MSR 045 style. Now I know some think that are cheap and no good, some think that stock is the best, but it is just my preference (to each his own you know). Looking around for these wheels has lead me to a bunch of smaller vendors, so I wanted to see where the cobalt community was sourcing theirs from? If there is a vendor of our community I would rather support them! So guys, where are you getting them?

I like my 045's, got them used for a decent price and had them blasted and re-powder coated gloss black. The paint that is on there doesn't seem to hold up that well, when I go tmy set they were all chipped up but then again I don't think the guy ever washed them either.

well I know they're pretty expensive, but I couldn't tell you how much exactly, something like $350-400 a wheel. They're a much higher quality wheel than both the MSRs and enkeis, and they're really light too.

Doesn't look like the ekm3 model comes in black for our bolt pattern, otherwise I do like them. Looking for these , i saw the Enkei PF01s, they are sweet and I have heard them called out on rhe forum before, only thing is they are a totally different price point!

pm jasonaudio on here or check this thread:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/supp...pecial-184125/

The factory finish on the msr 045 is kinda crappy, mine were chipped and had no paint in some small spots. They seem to be decent considering they are like $500 a set new

I love the pf01 but will stick with what I have

I'm looking to sell my MSR045's if you're interested. Far cheaper than what you will find on here.

the forgestar's are like $1700 for all 4 wheels. the enkei ekm3s are almost identical as the msr 045's, but better quality, and not much more expensive.
