Need help on tires please
I posted a thread awhile back asking about what tire is good and I should get. I havent gotten tires yet cause I havent had the money. I made my choice on getting the BFG KDW, but Ive still been looking at other tires and I am now considering the Kumho Ecsta SPT because it is a little cheaper and I need tires now and still dont have that much money. So my first question is should I go with the Kumhos or just bite the bullet and get the BFGs. My second question is about size. I was looking at getting 225/40, and I saw on tirerack that the recommended wheel sizes for a 225/40 are 7.5 inches wide to 9 inches wide, so I am not sure if that size will be ok for the stock wheels which are 7 inches wide, or do I need to get 225/45 size tires which can fit on wheels from 7 inches to 8.5 inches wide.
so which tire and which size?
I really appreciate the help, Thank You

Look into the Falken tire line up as they are cheaper then the Kuhmos and IMO the ride is far better. I'm running 245/40 18's on my aftermarket 18x8 rims with zero issues and the ride is better then the stockers ever were.

Id say pirrelli or Fierce tires, they're amazing and make sure your getting 225/40ZR18 just the added speed rating really helps out, as well as if you get a flat tire its sidewalls are stiffer and you steer away from the whole run-flat scenario.....pretty much it, and im aprenticing at a tire shop, not some random ranting guy lol

Best tire out there is the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D-3. Those are a real badass tire but you will pay for it.

www.discounttiredirect.com I have the Falken FK 452 and like them a lot. I have them in a 225/45/18. They offer free shipping, no tax, last time i saw you got like 30 bucks off 4 tires too. Cheapest place around I found, even beat Tire Rack. I got the 452s for 135/tire.
