need tires ASAP

today i finally saw how bad my tires are on my car. theres not even any groves left its smooth across the tire. i have no idea on whats a good tire and what to look for. i want to get a 225 45 17 to put on the stock g5 gt rims. also a tire that grips nice and does good in corners and wet roads any ideas ill take. looking to buy tonight or tomorrow.

Hey.. Some people like to drive on just rims and no tires..

I prefer to buy from local tire places so that I can see what the tires look like and if I have problems I don't have far to go.

I would check out some of the reviews on www.tirerack.com

Nitto Invo's. Google "Nitto Invo review". A lot of Corvette guys are using them and love them. They are pretty reasonable for price also.

lol what pisses me off is i bought my lease out on my car. so it was like buying a new car again. but now i get free tires for life and there the stock tires. well they dealer said i have to drive it for 15k miles befor they change them. i was like did you see the tires on it now!?!?! i have to drive the car across country this july i need tires.
