Needing New Tires Soon, Some Questions

How many miles did you guys get out of your stock tires? Im at 17k and I'm almost even with the notch that recommends replacement. I've got one trip to the track and some above
average aggressiveness on them.

I was looking at these tires.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....nSpeedRating=V

Their rating is 400AA, and our stock tires are 200. These off tirerack have a review about them lasting 20k miles, and mine have lasted 17k with 1/2 the tread rating? I know a lot has tto do with the driver, but shouldn't it be a lot different because of the tread rating?

I will most likely not be driving in the snow, because it rarely snows here in TN. SO, should I worry about getting all season tires or can I stick with summer tires?

I'm at about 18000 miles and am replacing my stockies with 225 40 nitto neo gens. I've got them. Just haven't put them on yet. They have awesome reviews at discounttiredirect .com. Check them out. I wouldn't go with the 215 45 size again if i were you. The wider the better .

And the 225s will fit OK on the stock rims? I would love to go wider, just haven't thought of that option.

Yep! they'll fit no problems. I've heard of people even putting 235's on their rims.
