Needing some tires..HELP!

Alright, my stock pierallis need to go they are almost at the end of their tread life. I do not drive the car much during the winter at all...and if I had to I could throw the stock pierralis back on there. My question is which street tires would be best? I have heard good/bad things on BFG KDW 2's and they are expensive as hell anyways...I was looking at some cooper tires but have no clue if they are any good. Any suggestions? I was looking to spend the most of $140 per tire...if cheaper that would be awesome...I want a tire that will have good traction at the track until I am able to get some DR's and good cornering ability. Thanks guys.

i personally never had them on my car, but i installed 4 of them on a freinds cobalt ss and he loved them... directional tread pattern, seem to handle good, and hook better than the stockers but thats not a very big accomplishment... lol

Any other suggestions? Looks to be like the the tread wear on these are not so great and somebody said they had very soft sidewalls and that handeling was not that great.

i always had great experiences with falkens. i've had them on my last 3 cars. i've seen people on here bash the falken 912s saying that they wear down fast but i've never experienced that.
