Yah i bought f1's back in february when i needed new tires, i got 225/40/18 and i love them, got about 4k miles on them and i just rotated my tires, not really worn that bad. There was a little wear though, you'll have that when you go to the drag track but no more than 3/32, and yah after you break them in they grab alot better than the stock tires.

Trust me I know

Nice purchase , the D3 is the absolutely the tire I wanted . I didnt want to stretch a 235 on a 7" wheel , and I the 225/40 is shorter than stock and we couldnt correct the speedo when I got my tires .

Enjoy em , Ive heard nothing but raves about em .

Anyone know if the Dunlop SP Sport FM901's are any good. I just ordered a set for my car on account my stock rossos got slashed at my apartment. Only had 3000 miles on them to. Man I was pissed.

The FM901 are not suppose to be all that great, from what I've heard. If you can, get some Eagle F1...you'll be happier.

235 is the section width of the tire in millimeters. The wider the section width the wider the tread and contact patch on the tire. check out this link to learn more about tires.

Arrow Update

This is an update for everyone. As i had mentoin before the tires were initally dissappointing. Then I realize that while making a ton of noise in the turn they were still holding. NOW after 2000+ kms, i believe they have finally broken in. Tirerack told me about 700miles around 1100kms but today I went around corner near my place that I have been using to test the tires and nothing, no noise just glue . So i turned around for anther pass bumping my speed up to 110 when 70 kph use to make the tires sqeel and.....nothing but endless grip, I was so amazed, they didnt feel light or apporoaching their limits at all, just firm and nailed to the road.

I highly reccommend this tires, for anyone wanting to replace the stockers.

Them are nice tires man.

I have KDWs and they are not realy much louder then the stockers. Maby by 5-7% at the most.

Also for thous that have tires size questions read my tire revew thread. 235s might not work with your rim depending on the tire you go with.
