New Tires

I know someone probly already asked this but will 235/40/18 fit on the stock 18 inch rims?

235 might be a stretch...if you look up the tires on Tire Rack they usually give a rim width range that the tire will fit on...

No, reccomneded rims width for 235's is 8-9.5 but i have heard of people putting them on.

7" rim with rubber thats meant for a 8-9.5" rim....fitment. Rubbing, a 235 should be pretty close to perfect for width and not run into rubbing issues. Thats what im hoping.

Exactly, it won't fit the way it's designed to. It could distort the sidewall, contact patch, or a little of both. Depends on the tire itself.

How about 225 cause they make that size in the same tire as well?

225 would be a MUCH better fit for the stock rims. Which tires are you looking at?

Goodyear Eagle F1's...but i dont know whether to go with 225/40/18's or 225/35/18's?

225/35/18's are a bad idea, they ar too small, they'll throw ur speedo out of wack. 225/40/18's are smaller tires than stock aleady.
