That sucks...but I didn't fare much better. The stock Pirellis on my '06 2.4 lasted until about 29k.

I bought the car in Sept 05 and hit 29k miles this March and I replaced them with a set of Goodyear GTs that I am very very happy with. Those stock tires were ass and I'm glad to be rid of them.

Wow 29k on the stocker's that's awesome. I did maybe umm 20k. Again no burnouts or peeling out. Oh yeah and 22k is definitely low for stock 2.2 tires to be wearing out.

All of you did better then me on my old ss/sedan 2.4 the stockers lasted a whole 15k they only saw 2 rotations! BfG Super Sport A/S were Awesome! And at an almost true +2 tire size of 225/45ZR17 99Y they drastically improved the way the car held hard turns and steering response!

I got an 07 HHR 2LT for a daily driver/take the dogs to the vet/get a ton of groceries vehicle that I used exclusively for a long while. Now I alternate based on my mood, purposes, or whichever has the most gas in it. Combined they almost have 50k miles on them... The tires on the HHR are doing quite well at this point which makes me a very happy girl.
