go for it, as you can see the results were awesome, mine took a long time cause i had to tape off the lip, if you're going to paint the whole wheel it shouldn't take too long, just make sure you have a lot of layers of paint so it doesn't scratch that easy. First coat is always really like, just to get it to stick, if you go with a heavy first coat it'll run and take forever to dry.
I did 3 light layers, then 2 heavy layers.

I have matching gold decals too, I'll post some pics before HIN, if I get the car done. I got the s/c out right now polishing it, all seats out to tub the back.

And yeah dude, the gold sponsor vinyls will look good with the gold wheels. I actually just removed my two windshield vinyls. Now all i'm rocking is the CobaltSS.net vinyls on my rear passenger windows.

Those are actually discontinued now, but you can still find them at most major wheel websites. They replaced them with the EV5's. My roomate just got a set of them in 17" hyperblack for his '05 Focus. They look dope. He told me they were new for '09 and at first I was like "bullshit dude, those are EVO 5's, they've been out for years, but then he showed me on Enkei.com that they are in fact the "EV5" now, and have slight differences. The lip on the EV5 no longer has that striping on it that the EVO 5 had, and the EV5's also have a cf look centercap, and the spoke width is supposedly a smidge thinner as well.

Looks nice by the way & being different & going against the grain is what gets you noticed at shows! Hell I was told that Gold didn't go with yellow & every 1 at the last shows Loved it, right along with the judges! I just cleaned house at the Super Chevy Show, thread in pics & vids!

Needless to say they were wrong... I get alot of compliments on the gold accents I have on the car & some of it real 24k Gold leaf!
