go for it, as you can see the results were awesome, mine took a long time cause i had to tape off the lip, if you're going to paint the whole wheel it shouldn't take too long, just make sure you have a lot of layers of paint so it doesn't scratch that easy. First coat is always really like, just to get it to stick, if you go with a heavy first coat it'll run and take forever to dry.
I did 3 light layers, then 2 heavy layers.
