Please help selecting tires
I know nothing about tires... so... I am tired of not getting any traction whatsoever in first gear. I have a ss/sc with stage 2 and cannot push the throttle past half way with out completely losing traction (tires spin, rpm's redline, and I'm doing 20). I want some tires for year-round use that will allow me to accellerate in first gear... is this possible?

nope...too much torque in first, any tire will lose traction. And to be honest the stock pirellis are pretty nice tires. try a torque dampener, tires will still spin but it will keep them on the ground and they will grab faster....

try the toyo t1r.. my friend has an 03 srt-4 with a set of those on it and the hook pretty well.. he still gets a little bit of spin with em but he's pushin about 17 psi with the turbo and it torques up really hard and it only spins when he revs up and dumps the clutch.. i'd say they good tires in my opinion..
or try the hankook ventus r-s2.. he had a set of those at one time to and they did a really good job of hookin..

I'll second the KDW2/KDW NT
Lots of experience with those tires. Had em on my car, my best friend used em in his 05 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V w/ Brembo Package, as well as others that I've driven or ridden in. And wait till you engage your brakes.....wooohoo!
