A Question on Tire sizing

Just so I don't get flamed for not searching I already have on this website, just doing this to confirm.
I am looking into picking up some Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's in a 235/40/18 size, because I can get somewhat of a deal on them. I was wondering if anyone had actual pictures of these tires on their car, because I saw somewhere that someone had already put these on their car. If anyone could leave their opinion on this option it would be greatly appreciated as would pictures. Just asking because it says the min. rim width for these tires is 8"

Sorry no pics, but i am also looking into get those exact tires. They look wicked as I have just seen them on my buddy's cobra this weekend and yes min rim width is 8", people have put them on stock rims but its not a good idea. These are amazing tires. hope this helps.

BTW what kind deal?

well I'm getting 2 for $150 brand new. I got the mad hook ups So you don't think that these tires will be a good fit for the stock rim at all?

I just think they would be too wide, see if you can get 225's they would fit. Honestly go to a tire shop and aks to see their charts they have for tire fitment. But i think 7.5" rim is the smallest you could go with 235's, but that jsut what i have read on websites.
