Rial Nogaro Wheels and steering wheel shaking

I just bought some used Rial Nogaro wheels 18X8. I installed them on the car with 235/40/18 Eagle DS-G3 tires and when driving at speeds over 55 mph and I let go of the wheel the steering wheel shakes or shimmies. The wheels/tires were balanced and I did a visual inspection of the wheels before purchasing them and could not find any deformations or problems besides a few chips or curb rash. The problem started right after I installed the new wheels and tires. The lug nuts are torqued at 100 ft/lbs too. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I did give the car a little gas after I got the new wheels on and got some wheel hop but let off quickly, I don't think it was enough to damage my axles, with the stickier tires.

Thanks for your help

For fun here are some pictures if anyone wants to see what the wheels look like on stock ride height. More pictures can be posted upon request.

UPDATE, so you don't have to read the whole thread: For those who wanted to know what the problem was. The new goodyear tires I got were all defective after getting a road force test, that makes 7 bad tires in total I received. The dealership that I had them tested at said these tires were junk and one of them was 39lbs out of balance on the road force balancer. I think goodyear had a bad manufacturing run for some of these tires. I had the wheels tested too and they were in good condition and had no defects.

Quick test would be to put the stockers back on and see if you still get the shimmy.

Bad balance or bad tires (faults inside the tire itself) can cause these problems.

I had a bike with a bad shimmy, swapped to a new tire, problem gone.

BTW wheels like nice.

Also, swap the fronts to the rear and see if the shimmy moves around.

probably werent balanced properly. happens all the time. just bring them back in to get rebalanced. ask for dynamic tape balance.

You can also swap tires around and figure it out the bad tire/wheel for free without paying someone

except for the fact that they're directional. Plus places like americas tire (discount tire) will do roadforce and **** for free if you bought the tires there.

Update: I had the wheels and tires rebalanced and had the wheels checked for defects and nothing was found. When I put the stock wheels back on the the vibration goes away. I think it has to be the tires. Tomorrow morning I am taking the car to a goodyear dealer to try and get the tires replaced under warranty. I have only driven maybe 15 miles on them too. I will post pics up soon within a day or two. Thanks for the help. Here is an extra pic I took the other day:

Also, I took the brake clips off, so that is not the problem.

Yes it would be the tires/balance. Do not let them tell you otherwise.

Check the inside of the wheels were the Hub goes. It might be missing a gasket that aftermarket wheels come with. I had the same problem with my old car and I spent over 4 grand trying to get the vibrations to go away, I replaced my struts and springs, and it turns out that the wheels were just missing that gasket. I don't know what they are called but they are ment to keep the wheel from moving around. I think its like 40 bucks to get a set of 4.

UPDATE: I took the car to a goodyear dealer to see if I could get new tires. They found out that discount tire had not balanced them right and made the changes and also the hub centric rings were cracked. When I got the wheels the hub rings were in good shape and maybe discount tire over torqued the wheels. I tried driving the car without the rings and still had the same problem. I also moved the wheels from front to back and still had the same problem. I am going to replace the hub rings and see what happens. The tires and wheels are true and have no deformations in them and I hope the new rings will fix the problems, if not I have no idea what the problem is. When I put the stock wheels back on the problem goes away. This is so frustrating.

Here are more pics:

Again, they are 18x8 on stock suspension with 235/40/18 tires

I am going to try to put hub rings on to see if I can fix my problem. I don't have hub rigns in now and the steering wheel still shakes back and forth at highway speeds. Also, I actually don't think the nogaros look that small compared to stock. I really like how wide they look and overall it is a very sharp wheel. The car would look better with a drop but I don't plan to lower it any time soon.
