hey guys im lookign into slicks for the track so i quit burning up my street tires, just wondering if its safe to run them with out lsd

ive got the driveshaft shop axels level 2
spec stage 2 + clutch
lowered wiht canuck motorsports springs
and dual torque dampners

im juts wondering what the chances are i snap another axle

just lookign for responses let me know

 

I run a set of DOT Racemaster tires by M&H. Stock axles and stock clutch, no LSD. If you have upgraded axles you should be ok.

 

dude if i where u i would get a set of custum made light weight 16 inch rims with slicks or street slick then see u run mid to low 13s

 

Granted they're not drag tires, but I run R-comps on the road course and they're fine aside from abnormal tire wear. My track is almost all right hand turns, so the left front gets a LOT of abuse and the rubber just peels away off of whatever tire is up there.

 

i run a 16inch wheel with dr's, no problem.

 

what sort of times do u pull with those? and did u ever pull with those on stock or with all those mods

 

My latest time without a few mods in my sig, on stock rubber 13.6 @ 104, and iam waiting on xtc front mount h/e, xtc 3inch no cat d/p, zzp header, and new tune, hoping for high 12s.
