OK, I was reading the sticky, but I do have a question. I want to keep my stock rubber, and I need a new set of rims.

So i can either go OEM or aftermarket.

If i did go aftermarket, would teh stock tires currently on 18x7 rims fit on a 18x7.5 rim without needing to get new tires?

bump

anyone have any info on this?

Cause I want to buy rims, if the 18x7.5's will fit

morning bump

Stock 215s on and 7.5 inch rim?

I would NOT do it.

Smallest size on a 7.5 inch rim I would run is a 225

thanks.

Just a question. How hard is it to get tires off of a set of rims? Like, I think im gonna get my rims powdercoated then, and I need to give them rims without tires. can I just let the air out of the tires, and then use like a screw driver to get the rubber off of them?

what about putting them back on afterwards? I know I might need to go get re-balanced, but coudl I atleast put the rubber back on myself, and fill them up and get them to my repair shop right up the road?
