SS/SC rims in winter

Im getting a ss/sc in about a week. Do you guys run the factory 18" rims in the winter or did u buy other wheels for the winter? Yes i know this is up probably somewhere but im on my lunch break and didnt have time to search for it.

your much better off running some cheapo rims and winter rubber.

you can run the stock rims if you want with some 18 inch winter tires...
but they are expensive, and its hard as hell on your nice rims.


just please whatever you do, dont drive in snow on the stock pirellis.

and dont listen to the idiots who will try and tell you "its ok" because they are to cheap to buy winter gear.

Mine are bullet proof powdercoated so I use them for the winters. No issues so far.

i was going to buy crap wheels and tires for winter. Made drop by a junk yard and pick out 4 wheels

got some Konigs that were on sale + some Yokohama IceGuard snow/ice tires. can't go wrong with winter tires.

Last year I was on the stock rims and tires. They are not winter tires and do not handle well in the snow.

Save yourself the hassel and get yourself a nice winter setup.

The stock tires were not very controllable in almost all conditions . I had 4 Saab 16" wheels and Nordfrost snow tires and got around like a 4x4 .
