Okay, so I've had my car for a little over a year, and through that time I've had chevy scratch my rims while putting tires on, one rim got hit with road debris, another my buddy dropped on a lug nut. All in all I'm just wondering what you guys think about painting them black or do you think I should leave them the stock Gunmetal?

First, the ones the dealer screwed up should have been fixed by them. The same thing happened and mine was fixed just by talking to the service manager.
Second, matte black would suck, while gloss black may be okay if you really want to black out your whole car.
Third, it really is your car\choice and be happy with what you decide\do.

i really want to do that but i havent seen a good pic of them on a silver ss/sc yet

 

an0malous your rims look f'n sweet like that. I had that same idea and was wondering how that would look.

 

I'm going to paint mine black as well just like an0malous, except is going to be a metallic black and the sunburst metallic orange where his silver is. I hope to have them done within a month before I move to Virginia. Just waiting for a really nice day to do them.
