Tire Cleaning: What do you use?

Recently, I washed my car and had the luxury to have an autozone gift card. At the store, after alot of deliberation(sp?), I decided to try out some Eagle one tire gel. I get my car washed, then put on this gel with a rag. I was VERY skeptical, when I first applied it. I usually use the spray on tire sheen, and have never used anything else. I like the Meguair's the best. News Flash! This tire gel stuff works great! I will take some pics. Then, I began to wonder, what do people from the CSS.net community use?? Well, here is your time to input what you use. I know certain folks (Hattrickstu, etc.) do detailing for a living and I WOULD LOVE to hear their input as well. So...what do you use?

When I use the gel, I go over it about 4-5 times with the tire sponge. I also do it at night, and then the car sits all night letting it soak in.

I used to use Armor All tire gell, but now I use Black Magic Titanium spray, I just let it soak in. The biggest pain about tire shine is all the dirt it grabs from the road I need a good cleaner lol

some eagle1 foam ****.

the gel doesn't stick to the tires and ends up on the side of your body.

I like the STP tire spray. I used to use the No Touch spray in the purple can (goes on clear) but that **** ruins your tires.

I use Hotpurple/Purple power. Mean green works. Spray nine does wonders. Any sort of degreaser. I detail cars for a job right now, been doing it for almost 2 years. Just my 2 cents.

Spray Nine is great stuff cleans everything, it also disinfects which is good for inside car.

Just dont let it soak on bare aluminum for a long time, it will eat it. I clean my engine(and customers) with it everytime. Get engine warm, spray on til everything is wet with a coat then just rinse well. I even use it on my polished Centerlines with no damage. Rinsing well is key.

Same with tires, I usually dont even scrub, spray on, rinse off.

Purple Power works just as well, but eats aluminum even quicker. Youll see it start foaming all by itself.
