tire clearance

I know there are quite a few threads out there about what tire size will fit and all that...but I have a question. For those of you who have the BFG G-Force 225 45 18's on their stock rims - anyone else having rubbing issues?? I'm fine when it comes to normal driving (turning, braking, accelerating), but have you guys noticed if you brake hard during a hard turn it sounds like the tires are rubbing. I noticed this last night, wasn't driving fast but almost missed my turn into a parking lot. So I got on the brakes hard and turned the wheel all the way and heard the loud "grinding". I went back and forth in the lot a few times and sure enough it does this on either side, depending on the direction of the turn. Again, I'm on stock suspension and stock rims...anyone else have this with the same setup??

bump...

I'm not 100% sure it is the tires...but I'm almost positive. It sounds just like the tread rubbing against plastic, and the sound alters with speed so it has to do with the speed the tire is going...I'm going to look at it more today when I can actually see

well I took a closer look and I'm pretty sure it's contacting at the back of each wheel well, only at the bottom...anyone else have any input/same problems?

it's the abs. check the fender liners for rubs marks, if there are marks then it's the tire. if there's no marks it's the brakes.
