tire help

some how i punctured one of my sidewalls, now i need a new tire. i had planned on getting new wheels and tires sometime after may. i am wondering if i should buy a cheaper kumho or something rather then spending 240 on the original pirelli. what do you guys think?? what would you do??

how does the tread look on your tires as of now? maybe you should dump the pirellis (which arnt that great in the first place) and look into a set of BFG KDW's or some Michelin PS2's

well the whole point of me just buying one cheaper tire is because i cant afford a set of rims and tires until about may. buying something like a kumho would be to just get me to around may when i could afford a new set of wheels and tires

the tread is still at like 80 percent atleast, my car only has about 13k burnout free miles on it

hey guy whats the difference in the rosso and the nero pirelli?

kumhos actually r a decent tire for the money...they wear really well and usually give good traction no complaints from neone i know

A ton.

The Rosso sucks, the Nero doesn't from what I know...the nero is one of the top rated UHP tires on the market and comes on Ferraris stock

what is the recommended pressure? i thought it was 32 lbs but i am being told i should be running 40 lbs in my tires.

nooo... 32 psi is plenty.... recommended presure is posted on the door when you open it, on every vehicle there is a sticker with info, including tire pressure, specific to your car

yeah i know that much, and i knew i saw 32 there, but i am having techs telling me i should be running 40 with those tires, thats why i was like wtf????

i have the factory tire for sale it only has 5k miles on it, the same thing happened to me so i just replaced 2 tires
