Mine look stretched? That doesnt even make sense since the first number is the width. The height would be the same.

A little. I would consider buying 225's with 8" wheels, but 8.5's would be too much IMO. I'm not a fan of the stretched look.

If the sidewall is angled, they ARE stretched. Your sidewalls roll under your wheels at the ground. If your tires aren't stretched, you don't get that look, the sidewalls will be vertical.

.. lol yea I definitely don’t want stretched tires and want the stock tires comfort. Which leads me to my question …will 223/45/18’s rub?

I guess you would have to see them in person

I would just see what the tire shop says, you shouldn't have any problems with rubbing until you lower it. And then it depends on how much you lower it.

You cant go wrong with the Bridgestone Potenza RE-11! Just got them yesterday and i love them. The ride will be harsher because the sidewalls are quite a bit stiffer. As far as will 235/45/18 fit I'm not sure. I for some reason think you might have some rubbing.

I have beenresearching tires a lot lately...discount tire and tire rack have the deals. I would go tire rack for selection and discount for price and free shipping. 235 4018 is my choice, the rogue is the widest wheel you can find i think....altho i have 9.0 ccw in 17's .

Avon 550 at 117 is a good buy I think, if not the best buy, but I am swayed toward the Dunlop Direzza, not the Direzza star, as it seems to combine handling and wear - and a sideway rib protector which is essential if you want to keep your wheels good day in and day out - for a good price - but cost more than the avons. I track tested the avons excellent handling balance but cant speak to how that compares to the Avons for aftermarket sale really, as what i had were develoment tires and you never know how the tire is that gets sold non-oem. So. Discount have some MB wheels compare to Rogue but not as wide with 4 tires (Pirelli) for 1162. I have the american wheel rogues in 17 good wheel.

also Dezod have enkei wheels very nice. but you already have the roques....anyway my 2 cents

Yea I pm'd that 235/40/18 would be the safe route. His rims are wider than mine. Enkei rims are pretty sexy

Well **** no one can tell me for sure.
The guy who had them before me was lowered on sportlines and ran 235/40/18’s and was rubbing. Any more input on my options?

If I get 235/40/18’s and DONT lower it I am sure I will be fine, but it will look like ass with the wheel gap

I actually don't have very much brake dust with my setup.

NGA is running a sale on the rims though. I had to send them some pics to give to Enkei since nobody has these rims yet

I am thinking he was rubbing because of a combination of the car being lowered and the rims being wider than most for our cars. Was he rubbing in the front and back or just one of them? I think with these rims, coilovers maybe your best option. That or find some lowering springs that don't drop it as much as the Sportlines. Or just don't lower it at all lol. I think lowering it completes the look with new rims though.

Stock height 255 40 18's front and back on 18x8 wheels

I have KDW's and have 50,000 miles on them as of now with another 5,000 or so to go.
No rubbing. Wanted American Racing Rougus but not available at the time when I just had to have some wheels.

As noted in subject line stock height

I believe I could drop an inch but that would be it. clearence is closer right to left than top to bottom Could go to 35 series to decrease height as well.

??? 255/40/18's are NOT stock height. They are .4" bigger than the stock 215/45/18 tires. 255/35's would be .6" smaller than stock.
