Tire size question

Do you think I can fit 255/40/18 on my 18x8 OZ Wheels? Is 255 too wide for the wheel and/or car for not having any spacers?

Minimum rim width for 255/40R18 is 8.5" . I imagine that a tire shop could force that size on to an 8" wide wheel, but they may tear the bead in the process. Once installed the tire would feel very unsettled in the corners and the sidewalls would be pinched in too much. Nothing we could ever encourage to be sure.

Plug those dims into here. I think it would look quite goofy even if you were to do it.
