so i have 215 wide cooper tires on my ss/sc wheels now, and i am getting tc wheels, and am wondering if the 215s are ok to run on them? i rele dont wanna buy new tires cause these r new so i was just gonna swap em over?

 

its only a half an inch wider of wheel. granted a 215 is on the smaller side of what people run on a 7.5, it will still work.

 

ok cool thanks. i figured it would be ok. my car is mainly just a driver. its not gonna be like i auto-x so the i dont think it will hurt to have just a little bit smaller tire. then when i get new tires ill go wider

theres a quick visual i did to show there really isn't much difference. you won't notice just glancing at it that the section width of the tire has stretch .250"
