What tires do you guys buy when you stock ones go i only got 7k on mY car and my tires are getting low on rubber i dont think they will last much longer. So my question is what brand of tire is every one buying i need somthing for tracion of course and i wuld like somthin for every day driving so that means good weather tires and a lil wider tire would be nice too I have the ss/sc wheles so the tire will need to fit them thanks!!

My next set of tires will be the yokohama s-drives. Now this is a awesome tire. Its a little soft. But its worth it. http://www.yokohamatire.com/TireIntr...eID=900&ID=uhp

You should look for something thats not so soft,
or your gonna be replacing tires very often by the sounds of it

or maybe some weight reduction on your right foot

Check your wear rating.

I don't rotate front tires 33,000 miles on first set but all Freeway and down to metal.
I went KDW BFG but on aftermarket wide wheels. But wider tires seem to be better wear inspite of lower wear rating. I might get 28,000 or so and not to metal on these no rotate.
Based on your mileage you need the highest wear rating you can find since you are buring them off. 235 is about max for stock and would help also probably.

If you want something for all season go with the Goodyear Eagle F1 AllSeason Tire. It is Y rated. I have a truck for the snow so I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with this tire. Maybe just have it for winter months and this spring/summer grab a softer tire, but we shall see. I am running 225/45/18 and it seems to hook better then OEM size and style tire. Braking 'seems' to be a little less but it may be the larger size tire or my perception. Also it seems like the bigger size tire has what RPM I'm at when I shift into 2nd after a pushing near redline in 1st. I would go with 235/40/18 tire size when I get another set. Anyone else have impressions on this tire and the size?
