TPMS sensor question????

I know our cars dont have these. Well not mine atleast. But my buddy just got rims for his G8 GT and we cant figure out how they are synced with the pcm. Is this something the dealer has to do, or will it do it automaticly? Thanks in advance for the help

its proly the sequence of letting air in/out of the driver front until the horn sounds and then move around the car tire by tire till you get to the driver rear. but dont quote me on that, it should say in the manual though

just remount each sensor to the rims but put the rims back on in the order taking off. or just find a good tire shop to take care of this

ok, had to do this with my summer tires, i got new sensors all round so i have a set on both wheels but get sensors in the wheels, they don't necessarily have to go back in the same order idk if it would make it easier or not. then it should say in the manual how to reset them. you put the key in and turn it to on but not all the way and i think you hold the check and the button to switch through stuff on the DIC, or its hold unlock and lock, depends on the car and i honestly dont remember on ours its one of the two, and the car will honk. Then go outside, it starts with driver side front tire, but the car will signal with the blinker which wheel to go to in order. One at a time let air our for a few seconds and it will honk, then move on to the next wheel and your golden.
