Hes talking about using the Tuner style lug nuts to bolt on his steel wheels. You'll be fine using them as long as you get them tightened properly

ok thanks, i sodl my hubcaps to a buddy on here and the dealer wants like 11.50 per lug for the GM lugs, and i have tuner lugs for my 18's so i figured id just sell the gm lugs off to him rlly cheap and use my tuners

yeah it works fine... only thing you kinda wanna watch is that your bolts coming thru the rims aren't too long so that the lugs can't tighten down all the way. I assume by lugs you mean the "wheel locks" that are capped at the top... so if they're "short" then the bolt will hit the "top" of the nut before they've been tightened fully. As long as you can get 'em tightened & torqued down you're good. I'm doing it now on my winter beater tires steelies
