I would get bigger tires but as stated before for the over all aspect ratio I had to go with these to not throw off my speedometer or odometer. a 225/45 it would be off around 5mph. About the biggest I could have gone without exceeding being 3% off of the original ratio is a 215/40/18 but 1) they didnt have any in stock and would need to order some and couldnt wait that my tires were very bald and 2) they wouldve cost about $200 more which I didnt have. Giving the scenario I got what I could. In the future I will probably have the car reprogrammed for larger tires

you can always get it calibrated with your new rim/tire setup.

My only speeding ticket i've ever gotten in this car, I was lost, didn't know the area, and was going with the flow of traffic. Unfourtunately, I was in the back of a group of cars, so the cop snagged me.

You weren't seeing the big picture when you bought 35 profile tires. Are you prepared to buy new wheels when they get bent from bumps and potholes? It would have been cheaper in the long run to buy
225/40/18's. Live and learn I guess. The wheels look good though!

225/45's are too big. They make 18's look like 17's. 225/40's would have been perfect. How hard is it to add 3mph in your head? Anyone who has HPTuners can change your tire size.

My back lip is black however it doesnt fit correctly on an LS bumper so I will be having an SS bumper painted to match the car and putting the lip back on that. Today I just put black side skirts on it and plan on painting my front lip black to match the rest. You can't really see them in this pic with the shadow under the car. I will be taking better pics with a real camera tomorrow
