what size??
in need to get new tires on my 07 SS/sc, i have the stock 18's on it. is there any other size that i could run or should i just get the stock size??

That's pretty risky. A lot of people have rubbing issues with 245's. If you are lowered or plan on lowering, avoid 245's. Some people even have problems with 235/40/18's.
225/40/18's are the most popular choice, but they are a bit smaller in diameter than SS/SC 215/45/18's. 225/40's come stock on the 08+ SS's though, so I would go that route.
