What tires?!

So I am curious I think i want the BFG kdw-2's I just want some tires that will get some awesome traction what does everyone recommend and what size should I go with if I am keeping the rear tires stock pirelli's

no opinions?

The KDW 2's will work but it is hard to refer you to a tire when I dont know how much you want to spend. I would go with a 225/45/ setup just to be safe and I am a firm believer in getting 4 tires not 2 especially when they would be 2 different tires.

Yeah get all 4 tires the same. The rear tires are important in a FWD car too. Its not all about straight line traction remember that. If you get those tires all the way around your car will be a whole different animal in the twisties!!! I had them on my 2.4 SS and I absolutley loved them. Besides it will look better.

I recommend Les Schwab's Proxie TR-1 Performance tire over firestone anyday, it's what I use and would stay with. If you're looking for superb dry surface performance, and excellent wet weather handling from an ultra high performance tire, this is the tire for you. But im a Les Schwab kid so I only trust those tires, I heard the Pirellis aren't too bad, but eh. and Yes 225/45 is the way to go on this car.
