Wheels for a ls sedan...

Hi yall,

I have a few "noobish" tire questions. First of all, I drive a 2007 LS Cobalt sedan with 4 lug bolt pattern on the wheels. Right now, I have the "frisbees" aka hubcaps on my car that are plastic and ugly . I am contemplating getting some wheels for the summer and I need some advice, because I have never bought wheels before. Is there a way to get "any" type of rim and just get it drilled for my bolt pattern (most I see are 5 lug pattern)? Also, is there a way to interchange wheels from other cars (I know, identity crisis) on your car? I was interested in getting a BMW style rim (like a Rial Nogaro, net sort) and thought, why not just buy not get BMW rims? Lastly, what is the cost/equipment needed to convert a 4lug to 5lug setup on ur car? If you have any answers...please respond. I have my wheel "wish list" in my gallery if yall are interested. Thanks!

well i know some special companys will drill wheels to a certain bolt pattern, but no manufacturers i know will. there are alot more 4x100 rims out there than there is 5x110, so just look around. try tire rack and also msr makes some nice ones.

What you should do is check your local classifieds, like craigslist ect... and you'll find some good deals, the rims and tires for my LS were all together $600 18" ICW racing wheels, everything was brand new when I got them, and what's funny is my brother has the same exact rims on his car, same size and everything, and he paid $1,300 for his rims and tires.

my rims came off of a 94' Honda Accord...

I drove like 120 mioes to the guys house, changed my rims in his front yard and drove home on them, couldn't ask for a better deal.

there's a **** ton more rim choices for a 4 lug, even the universal lug rims like mine, 90% of them will bolt right up to a cobalt.

I'm sure if you look long enough you'll find a great bargain in the classifieds.

Your better off finding some 4x100 wheels then having some custom drilled. There are tons me wheels for this bolt pattern. Check tire rack or wheelsnext, there tons. Also check on craigslist if you dont wanna buy online and prefer local. I got my enkie evo 5 wheels with tires for $650. I drove about an hour and a half to get them, but it was a relative deal.
